The 2017 edition of Godiva's Summer Track Series will offer twelve weeks of all-comers meets at Duke University's Morris Williams Track Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24th and concluding on August 9th. This year's Midsummer Night’s Madness “Swifter than arrow” meet is on June 28th.
Time: All meets begin at 7:00 p.m. sharp, rain or shine.
Location: Morris Williams Track is on the Duke Campus near the intersection of Science Dr and Whitford Dr.
Parking: Pay parking is available in the Duke University Science Dr. Visitor Lot. The Al Buehler Trail Parking Area is by permit only, although rumors indicate that you won’t get at ticket or towed after 5 PM. Park there at your own risk.
Weather policy: Meets will be held rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe (repeated nearby lightning or standing water on the track). Decisions about cancellation or postponement will be based on conditions at the track at starting time and NOT on forecasts!
Cost: A $1 donation per meet is appreciated.
Water: Runners, please bring your own water.
Note: The track is open to the public, so expect to share the track with others.
