The temperatures will subside and the dew point will drop. That means only one thing: time for the annual picnic. The fifth annual gathering will be on Sunday, September 17th beginning 3:00 p.m. Get event details and if you'd like to join the party.
Sunday, September 17, 2017
3:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m.
Duke Forest, Picnic Shelter at Gate F (same as the previous years)
Follow NC751 north towards U.S. 70, pass Kerley Road. Gate F will be on the left immediately after Gate 12 (under the power lines). If you cross the railroad bridge you went too far!
Volleyball, cornhole for sure – and whatever else you bring along.
$0 (can’t beat that) but we ask you to bring along an item to share.
We love dessert, so feel free to bring something homemade. Since we can’t live on meat and dessert alone, a side dish or appetizer would be greatly welcome as well. The club will provide water and Gatorade, plates, cups and napkins. We'll also provide the meat, buns and all the condiments. If feel inclined to bring your own kind of meat or veggie option, we will have the grill going.
Please email or text 919-818-0692 to let us know how many are coming so we can plan accordingly.
Yes, kids are welcome and encouraged.
