Please Volunteer for the Angels Among Us 5k
Godivans will once again serve as volunteers to work at packet pick-up or in-person race day registration. Last year the event raised $2.4 million for the Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. Godiva has supported the 5k since 1996.
There will only be one packet pick-up at Fleet Feet Durham on Friday, April 26th, and the Saturday race will start at 8:00am.
Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and free entry into the race.

Friday Evening Packet Pickup - April 26
- 04/26/2024 (4-7pm) LOCATION: The Fleet Feet store at 737 9th Street, Durham, NC 27705

Saturday Packet Pickup and Day of Race Registration - April 27
- 4/22/2023 (6:30 training; 7:00 registration, packet pickup, data entry). Race starts at 8:00 am
- Duke Campus, Trent Drive (Parking at Anderson St / Yearby Ave Lot)
- Volunteers needed: 25

Driving Directions
From East: Via I-40 West:Exit onto Durham Expressway/NC 147 (Exit 279B). Continue on the Durham Expressway and exit on Hillandale Road/Fulton Street (Exit 15B). Stay in the LEFT lane. At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn LEFT onto Fulton Street. Turn LEFT onto Erwin Road. Turn RIGHT onto Anderson Drive then right onto Yearby.
From North: Via I-85 South: Exit at Hillandale Road (Exit 174A). Turn LEFT onto Hillandale Road,and stay straight to go onto Fulton Street. Turn LEFT onto Erwin Road. Turn RIGHT onto Anderson Drive then right onto Yearby.
From South: Via US. 15-501 North: Take 15-501 North, marked Duke Univ./Med Ctr. Do not take 15-501 Business. Take exit for N.C. 751 (#107) marked Duke University West Campus. Turn RIGHT onto N.C. 751 S.(Cameron Blvd.). At first traffic light, go LEFT onto Erwin Road. Turn RIGHT onto Anderson Drive then right onto Yearby.
From West: Via I-85 North: Merge onto Durham Expressway/NC 147 South (Exit 172) toward Durham, Downtown, Research Triangle Park. Exit on Hillandale Road/Fulton Street. At the end of the off-ramp, turn RIGHT onto Fulton Street. Turn LEFT onto Erwin Road. Turn RIGHT onto Anderson Drive then right onto Yearby.
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking is available at the corner of Erwin Road and Flowers Drive (enter on Flowers Drive).
