The City of Durham hosted a ceremony on Oct. 12th to celebrate the new pedestration bridge spanning I-40. The arch will join two long sections of the American Tobacco Trail to create a continuous route of some 22 miles from downtown Durham to the outskirts of Apex.  While fabrication issues with the structure's safety railing will delay opening the bridge until later this year, Godiva was among the community groups on hand to mark the near completion of this long awaited project.
